To qualify for the AU Internship Program, applicants must be enrolled in at least the final year of a bachelor’s degree or have recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field. They must be nationals of an AU Member State and be full-time students or recent graduates. Fluency in at least one of the AU’s working languages—English, French, Arabic, or Portuguese—is required, and candidates must be under 32 years old at the time of selection. The AU seeks individuals who possess high moral integrity, ethical standards, and no serious criminal record.
